We have some very good news for you… We greatly improved ‘Site Explorer‘ and ‘Backlinks Explorer‘. Here is everything you should know about the new versions of these domain research tools…
Site Explorer (New Version)
Analyzing a domain in ‘Site Explorer’ is now faster, and you get more metrics, as well as many (up to 20 times) more backlinks. We also improved the interface, to make it clearer and more user friendly.
You can now choose to analyze the version with www., the version without www., or both. If you know which version is the strongest, only analyze this version, and the results will be generated faster. If you don’t know which version is the strongest, analyze both versions, and you will be able to see which one is the strongest in the results:
Once you know which version is the strongest (by looking at the Ahrefs, Moz and Majestic metrics), all you need to do is to click the ‘View www Metrics’ button or ‘View Non-www Metrics’ button and the system will show you a lot more data from Ahrefs, Moz and Majestic, as well as screenshots of the site (over time) and anchor text breakdowns:
If you want to learn more about the backlinks, simply click the ‘View Backlinks’ button and the system will show you useful information about the backlinks, including the source URL, anchor text, source Citation Flow, source Trust Flow and more:

– New www/Non-www Metrics section with more metrics, screenshots, anchor text breakdowns…
– New Backlinks Metrics section, with the metrics of both the source and target URLs, an export option…
– History of searches section now contains all the metrics in an easy to glance at overview

Backlinks Explorer (New Version)
As for ‘Backlinks Explorer’, we rethought the search process. You can now perform a ‘Fast Backlink Check’, which is similar to the ‘Backlinks Metrics’ section of ‘Site Explorer’, or use the ‘Deep Backlinks Explorer’, which will return a lot more information about the backlinks.
With the ‘Fast Backlink Check’, you ‘only’ get the backlinks and Majestic metrics (Trust Flow and Citation Flow), but you get them instantly, while with the ‘Deep Backlinks Explorer’, you get the backlinks and ALL the metrics of the backlinks, and are notified when we have all the data.
The ‘Deep Backlinks Explorer’ will generate breakdowns of the PageRank, Page Authority, Alexa, referring B-Class IPs, referring C-Class IPs, a table with a lot of information about the backlinks: the Ahrefs Rank, Domain Rank, PageRank, age, Alexa, Moz Page Authority, Moz Domain Authority, IP and crawl date as well as a the anchor text cloud and more:
List of changes and improvements:
– New search form (‘Fast Backlink Check’ and ‘Deep Backlinks Explorer’)
– Now you can check backlinks on the fly (basically instantly!)
– More metrics, an export option…
– Anchor text cloud and breakdown
